Our Founder

Hi, I'm Matt

Founder of MT Design Collective, Matt Turner has a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) from the University of Newcastle and over a decade of experience within the construction industry, with the last several years focused on drafting plans and landscape design.

Matt developed MT Design Collective in 2019 to follow his passion and bring a more personal touch to client projects - more warmth, more support, and a focus on strong relationships through the design process. Between technical expertise and a human-centric outlook, he's building a company that reflects his personal values: authenticity, quality and a passion for beautiful design.

How we work

A personal touch, through the work

From the first conversation to a council-ready set, you work with Matt and a small team who know your project inside out. We listen first, design around your site and budget, and document everything clearly so your build runs without surprises.

We provide drafting and documenting services for full concept designs, home renovations, additions, granny flats, rendering, commercial and office floor layouts and interior drafting - across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast.
